Biographical Note for SHEEHAN'S SYNDROME

Sheehan, Harold Leeming (1900–1988), British pathologist. As a professor of pathology, Sheehan served at various times on the faculties of universities in Liverpool and Manchester, England, and in Glasgow, Scotland. From 1935 to 1946 he was director of research at Glasgow Royal Maternity Hospital. His published research included papers on pathology, endocrinology, and renal physiology.
